2.3 Satellite and Environmental Data

We retrieve publicly available satellite imagery (Sentinel-2, Sentinel-1, Landsat) and environmental data (climate, soil, topography) from third-party sources including Google Earth Engine, NASA POWER, SoilGrids, and OpenStreetMap for the geographic areas of your registered farms.

2.4 Usage and Device Data

We automatically collect technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, and interaction timestamps to improve our Service and troubleshoot issues.

2.5 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe and Paystack). We do not store your credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. We only retain subscription status, plan type, and transaction references.

We use the collected information to:

• Provide vegetation monitoring, suitability analysis, and advisory services
• Generate AI-powered agricultural reports and recommendations
• Send email and WhatsApp notifications (weather advisories, alerts, monitoring updates)
• Detect crop diseases from uploaded imagery
• Calculate credit scores for agricultural financing (with your consent)
• Improve our machine learning models and platform features
• Process subscription payments and manage your account

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Cooperative administrators: If you belong to a farming cooperative, your farm data and monitoring results may be visible to cooperative managers as part of shared management features.

8. WhatsApp Messaging

If you opt in to WhatsApp notifications, we use the Meta WhatsApp Business API to send you weather advisories, farm monitoring alerts, and agricultural recommendations. You can stop receiving messages at any time by sending "STOP" to our WhatsApp number or disabling notifications in your account settings. Your phone number is shared with Meta solely for message delivery purposes.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain your authentication session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it.
